The post canteen was renamed 'Roppel's Canteen' in 2020 to honor our WWII US Navy Veteran Mr. Virgil Roppel. American Legion members and their guests are welcome to stop by for comradeship, have a drink and partake of our games & social activities.
The American Legion providees assistance to Veterans in many ways. Each Department has a Department Service Officer to help you understand what V.A. benefits you may qualify for and help you to file your claim. The American Legion also helps with temporary financial assistance for Veterans and disaster assistance. The American Legion can assist you with obtaining your DD-214 as well.
